What you will do

• Design and implement backend features for the core marketplace including automated investing and accounting systems
• Build scalable solutions for processing large investment datasets and real-time portfolio calculations
• Write clean, maintainable PHP code and collaborate with Java developers on system architecture
• Optimize performance for high-volume transaction processing and implement caching strategies
• Contribute to architectural decisions impacting the marketplace infrastructure
• Share knowledge and support team members

Requirements

• 2-4 years experience with PHP 8+ and modern frameworks (Symfony preferred)
• Strong skills in MySQL/PostgreSQL with large-scale schema design and query optimization
• Experience with data-intensive applications and batch processing
• Good understanding of software design patterns, clean architecture, and SOLID principles
• Experience designing APIs for high-throughput financial operations
• Strong English communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with RabbitMQ or similar message brokers
• Knowledge of financial calculations and accounting principles
• Familiarity with HikariCP or cloud databases like Aurora Serverless V2
• Experience in polyglot environments (Java/PHP interoperability)
