What you will do

• Develop and update operational, repair, and safety manuals and other essential documents
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, product managers, and technicians to gather accurate information
• Standardize content using documentation tools and create training materials with visuals
• Create dashboards and tracking tools to monitor documentation progress and optimize content
• Manage change requests and revision control processes using collaboration software like JIRA

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work onsite in San Jose, CA, United States
• Experience in technical writing for software and/or hardware with relevant content development tools
• Bachelor’s degree, technical writing certificate, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with markup languages (HTML, XML, DITA XML, SGML) and structured authoring tools
• Experience with content management systems and style guidelines (Simplified Technical English, S1000D, MIL-STD, MMSTP)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, collaboration, and communication skills
