What you will do

• Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams and team leads, fostering a high-performance and autonomous culture.
• Manage distributed teams ensuring clear communication and alignment across projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on technical roadmaps, resource allocation, and project execution.
• Partner with architects and principal engineers to ensure technical excellence aligned with cloud-native technologies.
• Drive recruiting, hiring, and onboarding to scale engineering teams effectively.

Requirements

• Must have 8+ years in software engineering and 3+ years managing multiple teams.
• Experience leading distributed or remote teams.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures including Kubernetes and microservices.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Based in or able to work hybrid in Gdańsk, Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience in Observability or DevOps domains.
• Familiarity with SaaS product operations.
• Knowledge of Java, Go, Python, or C++.
