What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive testing of Ethernet hardware components including switches, microcontrollers, and Ethernet PHYs.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate compliance with Ethernet standards and performance requirements.
• Perform interoperability testing to ensure seamless communication between different Ethernet devices and systems.
• Analyze network traffic and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and latency issues.
• Create test scripts and automation tools to streamline validation processes.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and network architects to optimize system performance.

Requirements

• Must have 5-7 years of experience in Ethernet system validation.
• In-depth knowledge of Ethernet standards (IEEE 802.3) and protocols.
• Proficiency in test plan development, test automation, and scripting.
• Strong network troubleshooting and interoperability testing skills.
• Solid understanding of Ethernet hardware components.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.
