What you will do
- Design and implement embedded software for Linux-based platforms
- Support hardware-related programming (SPI, I2C, UART)
- Assist migration of Linux systems to Yocto by creating and maintaining Yocto recipes
- Develop and execute tests for quality assurance
- Assist with documentation of embedded Linux systems
Requirements
- Must be properly enrolled as a student during employment
- Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics or related fields
- Practical experience in software development and basic knowledge of C++
- Familiarity with embedded systems and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART) is a plus
- Work up to 20 hours per week during lecture period
- Mobile working possible but main work location is Meckenheim, Germany
