What you will do
- Design and implement compelling gameplay spaces from concept to final production.
- Collaborate with directors, leads, narrative, technical design, and art teams to ensure cohesive game experience.
- Establish and maintain level design best practices and style guides.
- Mentor and provide feedback to other level designers.
- Develop and maintain level design tools and pipelines to optimize workflows.
- Identify and mitigate risks to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience as a designer.
- At least 2 shipped games, including 1 with Unreal Engine.
- Strong planning, workload management, and autonomy.
- Expertise in layout design, mission/quest design, and Unreal Blueprinting.
- Ability to greyblock model for level design.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience designing mission-based games.
- Expert blueprint skills.
- Ability to write and/or draw.
