TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Sydney, NSW, Australia (North Sydney office presence required Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)

What you will do

  • Lead and execute all local HR functions from daily operations to strategic initiatives as the organization scales.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on HR policies, procedures, and best practices for managers and employees across Australia.
  • Manage employee relations cases including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle from offer to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate insights to support data-driven decisions.
  • Champion culture and change management, supporting communication, engagement, and team-building efforts.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in Sydney, Australia with hybrid office attendance as specified.
  • 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in fast-scaling or high-growth tech organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment laws, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build trust at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Dayforce or other enterprise HRIS systems.
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capability.
