What you will do

• Automate test strategies in headless and backend services
• Establish and promote best practices in test automation
• Collaborate with data engineering and data science teams
• Apply automation to eligible projects
• Coach testers, developers, and product teams on test strategy and testable code

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in Portugal (Fundão, Lisboa, Vila Nova de Gaia)
• 5+ years experience in test tooling and automation for backend services
• Strong Python and SQL development skills
• Experience with Clojure and functional programming
• Good communication and documentation skills in English (minimum B2)
• Experience assuring quality in data pipelines or large data volumes

Nice to have

• Experience with TDD, BDD, or ATDD
• Basic statistics knowledge
• Time zone overlap with Eastern and Central Europe
