TL;DR

Salary: $115,000–$145,000 annually

What you will do

  • Manage and mentor a team of 7-10 engineers, conducting performance reviews and career development.
  • Delegate and monitor engineering assignments ensuring technical, cost, and schedule compliance.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on fluid controls development programs.
  • Assess program performance and advocate for program interests across the business.
  • Identify and implement new engineering processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other engineering managers for resource management and organizational improvements.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; advanced degrees and PMP certification are a plus.
  • At least 10 years of progressive engineering experience with 3 years leading projects.
  • Experience with phased program/project life cycles such as NASA or hirify.global processes.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; aerospace or defense customer experience preferred.
