Junior DevSecOps Engineer

What you will do

• Maintain and improve AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Automate deployment workflows with GitLabCI and Terraform.
• Develop and implement monitoring solutions across environments.
• Apply security best practices and support cloud security solutions.
• Audit Kubernetes and AWS environments to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Automate security controls in CI/CD pipelines and support secure development practices.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid onsite in Hamburg or Berlin, Germany
• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Experience with Unix/Linux servers and basic Kubernetes exposure.
• Familiarity with Terraform, scripting languages (Go, Python, JavaScript), and AWS.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Motivation to deepen cloud security knowledge and work in Agile teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with security practices like SAST/DAST and secret scanning.
• Interest in incident response or log analysis.
• AWS or Kubernetes certification.
