Salary: $128,200 - $255,530 annually depending on location and experience

What you will do

• Develop and apply AI techniques such as computer vision, deep learning, and reinforcement learning to defense signal processing challenges.
• Participate in all phases of system development lifecycle including design, implementation, integration, and testing.
• Lead technical teams and mentor junior engineers to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and deploy AI systems.
• Contribute to proposals and whitepapers to secure funding for AI R&D projects.
• Communicate complex AI concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must have a Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in AI or related fields with strong software engineering skills
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and Java programming languages
• Experience with ML frameworks such as JAX, PyTorch, or TensorFlow and reinforcement learning
• Ability to work part-time remote and part-time onsite at US hirify.global facilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience mentoring teams

Nice to have

• Experience with software architecture and government simulation/network interfaces
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, GitLab/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of MLOps pipelines and modern machine learning techniques
