What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain data models using tools like DBT to transform raw data into structured, analytics-ready datasets.
• Build and manage insightful and reliable dashboards to facilitate self-service analytics.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand their business needs, providing actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to define data pipelines, establish ingestion strategies, and implement data governance policies.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency through rigorous testing and monitoring processes.
• Propose and implement continuous improvements to the data stack and enhance best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or a similar data-focused role, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment.
• Strong expertise in SQL, with practical experience working with large datasets (experience with BigQuery is ideal).
• Proven experience with data modeling and transformation tools like DBT.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.
• A strong sense of ownership, quick learning ability, and a proactive approach to adapting to new challenges and technologies.
• Formal education in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python for data scripting and automation.
• Proficiency in a visualization tool like Looker.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP ideally).
