We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a multi-year Payments Modernization program.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end project management for payments modernization initiatives.
• Manage projects typically 1–2 years in length, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders across technology, operations, and business lines to align program deliverables with enterprise strategy.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, dashboards, and reporting for senior leadership.
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and interdependencies across streams, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Payments Canada modernization standards and evolving industry/regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of project management experience in financial services, with a strong background in payments and commercial banking.
• Proven success managing enterprise-scale, multi-year payments transformation programs.
• Deep knowledge of Payments Canada frameworks, CHIPS, batch reporting, and real-time payments/rails.
• Familiarity with APIs and payment system integrations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities; PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.
