What you will do

• Collaborate with scientists and research associates to make fundamental discoveries about genetic variant to gene to cellular function.
• Integrate multi-modal high-dimensional data sets to infer gene regulatory networks and genetically informed cellular programs.
• Expand computational and theoretical capabilities into new applications and identify new research opportunities.
• Contribute to generation of computational models.
• Make significant contributions to scientific papers, and presentations.
• Train and mentor other lab members.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Computer Science, Physics, or related life science field.
• Extensive experience with the analysis of biological data, including high-throughput functional genomics assays, ideally versatile with multiome data.
• Experience in large scale data analysis, a solid understanding of genetics and genomics, including epigenomics, transcriptomics, disease genomics and statistical genetics.
• Strong theoretical background.
• Track record of excellent writing skills and the ability to move projects ‘over the finish line’.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and collaboration skills to work in a team-oriented, matrix environment, and the ability to work through conflicts.
