What you will do

• Create AAA quality lighting that respects the project’s technical and artistic constraints.
• Work closely with the Art Director to achieve the desired lighting and mood for the game.
• Apply special effects related to lighting and atmosphere, such as fog and volumetrics.
• Balance and maintain consistent lighting across levels.
• Optimize work while maintaining quality and performance.
• Support the Lead Artist and Art Director in various tasks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the gaming industry as a real-time lighting artist on a AAA project.
• Solid understanding of lighting in real-time engines.
• Exceptional eye for color and composition.
• Strong knowledge of how light interacts with PBR materials.
• Excellent understanding of in-game lighting techniques and atmospheric effects.
