What you will do

• Build, maintain, and operate clear and powerful visualizations for users.
• Understand business goals and evolve the existing reporting stack over time.
• Utilize data storytelling skills to build informative dashboards in BI tools like Tableau.
• Create custom data visualizations using UI development and Javascript skills.
• Write efficient SQL queries and use last mile ETL in dbt for performant reporting.
• Collaborate with marketing, data science, and data engineering teams to maintain scalable reporting approaches.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or Master's degree in a quantitative field or demonstrable experience within business analytics.
• 5+ years of experience in data visualization with expertise in tools like Tableau or other BI tools.
• Highly fluent in SQL and working in a big data environment.
• Experience with ETL tools and table design.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Experience creating custom data visualizations using javascript.

Nice to have

• Experience in Tableau Server administration.
• Strong conceptual and theoretical knowledge of data visualization principles and techniques.
• Scripting (Python) skills.
• Experience with data modeling and DBT.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and other marketing-oriented datasets.
