What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain the FastAPI backend for game-integrated AI systems.
• Structure PostgreSQL databases for player memory, NPC context, and world data.
• Own Docker-based deployment and CI/CD pipelines for internal and live systems.
• Collaborate with gameplay and narrative teams to ensure seamless API/game integration.
• Build developer tools to simulate, test, and debug prompt flows and AI behaviors.
• Monitor, scale, and improve the platform’s performance and reliability.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in backend or fullstack engineering.
• Proficient in Python and FastAPI.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, optimization).
• Proven DevOps skills: Docker, CI/CD, and continuous deployment.
• Experience designing APIs for real-time or player-facing systems.
• A product mindset and ability to collaborate across design, engineering, and narrative.
