TL;DR
Environment Artist (Game Development): Creating atmospheric environment assets for an Action-RPG set in Antiquity with an accent on collaboration with Concept Art and Level Design. Focus on building a modern 3D art pipeline and problem-solving in the absence of concept art.
Location: Remote or Munich, Germany
What you will do
- Work closely with Concept Art, Level Design and other departments to build atmospheric environment assets.
- Provide and receive feedback, coaching other team members.
- Work self-directed and proactively.
- Shape a modern 3D art pipeline.
- Find solutions when there is no concept art available.
Requirements
- Proficient in industry standard tools (Maya/Max/Blender, Substance, ZBrush).
- Experience in creating assets to PBR standards.
- A portfolio filled with relevant artworks.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Experience working in Unreal Engine 4/5.
- Skilled in other software like Houdini, SpeedTree.
- Willingness to relocate to Munich, Germany.
