What you will do
- Provide on-site, remote, and phone support for business partners (IT customers).
- Install, troubleshoot, configure, and upgrade hardware, operating system software, and application software.
- Resolve technology-related problems and escalate issues to appropriate support areas.
- Follow up on existing issues to ensure timely customer resolution.
- Create support documentation for staff.
- Organize, maintain, and track equipment and parts for repair and replacement.
Requirements
- Strong focus on customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and listening skills.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems.
- Ability to analyze and repair hardware-related issues on desktops and laptops.
- Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds safely.
- 3+ years of customer service experience and IT equipment support.
- Valid Driver's License Required
Nice to have
- 6+ years of customer service and IT equipment support experience.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or business administration with a concentration in computer science.
- ITIL certification, Microsoft Certified Product Specialist (MCP), A+ Certification, or related certifications.
