TL;DR

Desktop Support Analyst: Responsible for end-user computer and peripheral installation, troubleshooting, and hardware/software configuration with an accent on warranty repairs, collaboration with users, and alignment with IT support teams. Focus on resolving technology-related issues, creating support documentation, and ensuring timely customer resolution.

What you will do

  • Provide on-site, remote, and phone support for business partners (IT customers).
  • Install, troubleshoot, configure, and upgrade hardware, operating system software, and application software.
  • Resolve technology-related problems and escalate issues to appropriate support areas.
  • Follow up on existing issues to ensure timely customer resolution.
  • Create support documentation for staff.
  • Organize, maintain, and track equipment and parts for repair and replacement.

Requirements

  • Strong focus on customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and listening skills.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to analyze and repair hardware-related issues on desktops and laptops.
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds safely.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience and IT equipment support.
  • Valid Driver's License Required

Nice to have

  • 6+ years of customer service and IT equipment support experience.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or business administration with a concentration in computer science.
  • ITIL certification, Microsoft Certified Product Specialist (MCP), A+ Certification, or related certifications.
