Senior Software Development Manager

TL;DR

Senior Software Development Manager: Leading and scaling engineering teams, mentoring managers and individual contributors, and partnering with product leadership to develop and execute product roadmaps. Focus on creating a positive, inclusive culture and delivering quality software to solve customer problems.

Location: This role is available to candidates across Canada and the US. If you are local to one of our hubs (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto) you will be expected to be in office minimum twice per week on one of our Anchor Days.

Salary: $181,600 to $272,400 CAD

• Deep dive into technology & code to help managers & developers.
• Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with engineering managers and individual contributors.
• Partner with leadership to envision, develop, and execute our product roadmap.
• Work closely with the Recruiting/People team to actively recruit and hire top talent.

Requirements

• Experienced engineering leader comfortable pushing code to production.
• Proven track record in scaling services and systems with experience in projects built for scalability.
• Adept at managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Experienced in crafting long-term strategies and managing technical roadmaps.
• Successful running agile organizations at scale, with a sense of urgency to deliver quality software.
• Demonstrated experience in promoting positive culture and diversity.
