Focus on optimizing layouts to meet performance requirements in advanced CMOS technology processes and developing custom scripts to improve design flows.
Location: Onsite in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Salary: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 CAD (pro-rated for the internship duration)

What you will do
- Design high-speed analog and mixed-signal layouts in advanced CMOS technology processes.
- Perform transistor level floor planning and routing.
- Verify designs against design rules (DRC) and schematic connectivity (LVS).
- Collaborate with Analog Circuit Design engineers to optimize layouts for performance.
- Develop custom scripts to improve tools, flows, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science, or related fields.
- Solid foundation in CMOS digital electronics.
- Excellent communications skills (written and oral).
- Proactive and willing to learn quickly.
Nice to have
- A solid foundation in analog electronics is a plus.
- Python and Perl programming experience a plus.
