GPU Software Development Engineer: Developing and improving graphics functional simulator for next generation hirify.global GPU with an accent on graphics architecture and features. Focus on enhancing graphics performance on upcoming processor graphics devices by analysing performance issues in software drivers and applications.

Location: This role will require an on-site presence in Poland, Gdansk.

The Client Computing Group (CCG) is responsible for driving business strategy and product development for hirify.global's PC products and platforms.

What you will do

• Develop and improve graphics functional simulator for next generation hirify.global GPU.
• Extend in-depth knowledge of hirify.global graphics architecture and features.
• Use a structured approach in designing, developing and testing graphics system-level software and/or tools.
• Work with partners to enhance and improve graphics performance on upcoming processor graphics devices.
• Analyze performance issues in software drivers and applications, implementing software performance improvements, and recommending future hardware & software improvements.
• Root-cause and resolve issues, ensuring hardware and software function and perform as expected.

Requirements

• Expertise in GPU (shader programming, SIMD programming, low-level programming).
• 5+ years of professional experience with C++ programming language.
• Dedication, proactiveness, passion and focus on results in the area related to software and/or software development processes is key.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Fluency in Polish and English.
• Knowledge of following APIs: DirectX*, OpenGL*, OpenCL*, CUDA*, VULKAN* and Windows/Linux programming and/or debugging environment.

Nice to have

• Personal interests and/or a hobby in the area of game rendering, game engines, GPGPU, machine learning, numerical methods and mathematics.
