TL;DR

Software Developer Intern, Web: Developing consumer features and reusable UI paradigms using React, owning significant parts of execution. Focus on building products to support hirify.global’s brokerage operations and collaborating with cross-functional partners to iterate on the product rapidly.

Location: This role is based in our Toronto office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $33 - $33 CAD

What you will do

• Architect new consumer features and reusable UI paradigms using React, owning significant parts of execution.
• Build and test products to support hirify.global’s brokerage operations.
• Collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners to rapidly iterate on the product.
• Design frameworks and tools that empower other developers.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date in Winter 2026/Spring 2027.
• Fluency in JavaScript and a strong understanding of its fundamentals.
• Understanding of functional and reactive programming paradigms.
• Strong design intuition and user empathy.
• Passion for supporting power users and building developer tools.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Python/Django and Go is a plus.
