What you will do

• Learn how gameplay features and systems that underpin Fortnite Creative and Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) function.
• Learn Verse, Epic's new programming language for the Metaverse.
• Implement, augment and maintain those same features and systems using C++, Blueprint, and Verse.
• Collaborate with a globally diverse team of developers consisting of design, art, QA, and production.
• Learn and follow production processes that allow for smooth development practices.

Requirements

• Strong C++ knowledge
• Interest in gameplay programming
• Interest in game engine technologies
• A desire to develop strong software development skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate within a team
• The ability to react and respond effectively to constructive feedback
• A flexible approach to development and willingness to apply out-of-the-box thinking and approaches to rapidly evolving software
