What you will do

• Review and analyze requirements to ensure they are testable and complete.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure backend services meet quality standards.
• Plan, design, and execute manual tests for APIs, integrations, and backend components.
• Run SQL queries to validate backend data and support end-to-end testing.
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and support regression testing.
• Continuously improve test coverage, identify gaps, and contribute to QA strategy.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend-focused QA experience (manual testing focus).
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and QA best practices.
• Experience with manual API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Insomnia).
• Familiarity with log analysis tools (e.g., Graylog, Kibana).
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to work in a fast-changing environment with shifting priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated testing (e.g., using Jest or similar frameworks).
• Scripting knowledge in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
