Salary: $284,000 to $279,000 + equity + benefits

• Guide the technical vision and roadmap for hirify.global's Desktop Platform.
• Grow and manage a team of talented desktop and application engineers.
• Ensure the team delivers extraordinary results at a high technical level.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager.
• Deep understanding of desktop performance.
• Strong technical depth with C++ or other low-level languages for performance optimization, and experience with Javascript/Typescript and React.
• Passion for coaching and developing engineers.
• Strong communication skills that foster clear technical discussions and help teams reach alignment.
• Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties).

Nice to have

• Experience running performance & quality, build & release, or other architecture teams.
• Experience working with application optimization beyond Desktop, including web & mobile.
• Expertise in Windows applications that interact with Windows Desktop Window Manager (DWM) and/or low-level graphics rendering.
