Application Security Engineer

Location: Relocation support to Cyprus available

What you will do

• Conduct security reviews of architecture and code for in-house applications
• Support SDLC and vulnerability management in development teams
• Manage bug bounty program and security incident investigations
• Maintain and improve security automation tools including WAF, ASPM, SAST, SCA, DAST
• Provide security awareness training for developers

Requirements

• 4+ years in Application Security or penetration testing, or 5+ years in IT Security roles
• Strong development or penetration testing background
• Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and protective measures
• Experience exploiting web vulnerabilities and staying updated on techniques
• Ability to read and write code in at least one programming language
• English: Intermediate or higher

Nice to have

• Understanding of microservice architecture and security
• Knowledge of virtualization, containerization (Docker), and cloud services (AWS)
• Industry certifications
• Pet projects, research, conference talks in information security
• CTF or Bug Bounty experience
