Lead Backend Developer

Location: Montenegro (onsite with relocation support)

What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional backend team using Go, Python, and Kotlin.
• Plan product strategy and translate business requirements into technical tasks.
• Estimate development resources and costs, oversee execution and implementation.
• Mentor and develop team members with individual growth plans.
• Own technical architecture and make key design decisions.
• Manage full development lifecycle from requirements to production and maintenance.

Requirements

• Experience as a Team Lead in backend development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Python, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of microservice architecture and design patterns (Outbox, CQRS, Adapter, Proxy, Composer).
• Experience with gRPC, Apache Kafka, CI/CD, Kubernetes, GitLab, and cloud platforms (AWS).
• English level: B2 or higher.
