What you will do

• Build, maintain, and update shared UI components to ensure consistency, quality, and documentation.
• Lead and advise on UI/UX best practices and standards, ensuring high design craft.
• Educate engineers on UX, industry standards, and Design System implementation.
• Support product team use cases by building new shared patterns or updating guidance.
• Drive technical direction and make key technical decisions for the system.
• Identify, scope, and lead technical projects to build performant and reliable systems.
• Mentor and uplevel junior teammates through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of industry experience with deep expertise in frontend engineering, design systems, and accessibility.
• Proven ability to drive complex technical initiatives independently.
• Extensive experience building shared UI components and developer tooling.
• Mastery in system design and software architecture, with an emphasis on user experience and accessibility.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, component architecture, state management, and frontend performance optimization.
• Demonstrated leadership through mentoring, driving technical decisions, and influencing engineering standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to educate and collaborate effectively across engineering teams.
