Analyst/Sr Analyst – Transaction Monitoring (Fintech)

TL;DR

Analyst/Sr Analyst (Fintech): Ensuring timely and in-depth review of alerts from AML transaction monitoring systems and investigations of suspicious AML/CFT activities with an accent on proper documentation and identification of emerging AML/CFT risks. Focus on strengthening transaction surveillance and intelligence operating frameworks and procedures.

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office in Mumbai, India)

What you will do

• Review alerts from AML transaction monitoring systems and escalations on suspicious AML/CFT activities.
• Document reviews and investigation cases in accordance with Group standards.
• Provide insights on relevant and emerging AML/CFT risk issues from analysis of suspicious activity.
• Support strengthening the transaction surveillance and intelligence operating framework and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in AML transaction monitoring, SAR filing, Sanction Screenings, and Investigations-related work.
• Good understanding of the Payments/Fintech industry.
• Strong English communication skills (both verbal and writing).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an investigative mindset.
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and under pressure within tight deadlines.
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the Payments industry and regulatory landscape.

Nice to have

• ACAMS certified.
• Good hands-on experience with Advanced MS-Excel, including Macros.
• Knowledge of data analytics.
