hirify.global is looking for a Backend Team Lead who can drive technical excellence while guiding and supporting a team of engineers.

What you will do

• Lead a team of backend engineers in developing scalable and secure systems.
• Support team members' growth through mentoring and technical guidance.
• Align with other team leads, product managers, and stakeholders on project goals and timelines.
• Contribute to architectural decisions with long-term maintainability in mind.
• Write and review high-quality, production-ready code in Python (and optionally Rust).
• Continuously evolve engineering practices and improve team efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• At least 2 years in a senior engineering role, ideally with some leadership responsibilities.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python, with working knowledge of Rust.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps best practices.
• Solid understanding of backend system design, scalability, and reliability.
• Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken.
