What you will do
- Build and roll out new features, iterating based on results.
- Drive projects from initial ideation to operations.
- Break down complex challenges into modular solutions with short feedback loops.
- Maintain critical systems, owning their reliability, performance, and availability.
- Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of services.
- Mentor team members, participate in design discussions, and collaborate.
Requirements
- Motivated self-starter with a bias towards action.
- Strong coding skills and operational experience with built software.
- Experience with SaaS platforms and common distributed systems problems (scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, HA).
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are a must for this fully remote setup.
- Willingness to work across teams and with external stakeholders.
- Programming experience in Java.
- Experience with Kubernetes and any one of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
