Join our growing team at Playtronix, where we’re building innovative software for the online casino industry. We’re looking for a seasoned Mid/Senior Frontend Developer who is ready to take ownership of complex projects, mentor others, and contribute to a high-performing, talented team.
Note: As this is a hybrid role, we are specifically looking for candidates currently based in Belgrade or the immediate surrounding area to facilitate in-office collaboration.
Role Highlights:
As a Mid/Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll lead the development of modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript. You will act as a bridge between design and engineering, ensuring our architecture is scalable and our user interfaces are seamless. This hybrid position offers the perfect balance—collaborate in person at our Belgrade office and enjoy the flexibility of remote work.
Responsibilities:
-Architectural Leadership: Build, maintain, and scale reusable and efficient frontend architectures and component libraries using React.
-Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to translate complex requirements into high-quality, user-friendly interfaces.
-Performance Engineering: Lead efforts to optimize web applications for maximum speed, responsiveness, and SEO.
-Code Excellence: Write clean, maintainable, and highly documented code. Lead code reviews to ensure quality and help elevate the skills of your teammates.
-Strategic Problem Solving: Tackle sophisticated frontend challenges and proactively suggest architectural improvements to enhance the overall user experience.
-Innovation: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and advocate for the adoption of best practices and new technologies where appropriate.
Qualifications / Requirements:
-Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in web development, with at least 3 years focused on React and TypeScript.
-State Management: Deep expertise in state management libraries such as Redux, Jotai, or similar.
-Optimization: Advanced understanding of performance optimization, browser rendering cycles, and responsive design patterns.
-Modern Stack: Strong experience with Next.js; familiarity with Node.js is a significant advantage.
-Tooling: Proficiency with GitHub workflows and testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library.
