What you will do

• Work on well-defined tasks within AI/ML projects under supervision, focusing on Python, machine learning, and cloud technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable code following team standards and participate in code reviews.
• Assist in research, data preparation, model training experiments, and basic feature engineering.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, deepen understanding, and communicate progress.
• Learn and apply software quality practices including unit testing, Git, and basic CI/CD.
• Demonstrate hunger to learn new technologies, take on feedback, and show initiative in personal development.

Requirements

• University degree (Hons 2.1 or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or related discipline, with less than 2 years of industry experience or recent graduate.
• Basic proficiency in Python with fundamental programming concepts and demonstrated interest in AI/ML through projects or coursework.
• Ability to explain technical concepts, work collaboratively, participate in agile teams, and receive constructive feedback.
• Willingness and ability to learn quickly, ask questions, show self-motivation, and proactively learn new technologies.
• Must be based in Hungary for remote or hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Exposure to ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with data manipulation libraries (pandas, NumPy) or basic data visualization tools.
• Basic familiarity with cloud concepts, AWS services, or understanding of REST APIs.
• Experience with Java or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, or similar project tracking tools.
