What you will do

• Take ownership of maintaining, debugging, and extending a large PHP 7.4 legacy codebase without modern frameworks.
• Lead investigation of complex production issues and implement reliable, long-term fixes.
• Work closely with business teams and analysts to clarify undocumented logic and system behavior.
• Execute, test, and validate application logic triggered by cron jobs, Camunda workflows, and PHP CLI scripts.
• Review logs and system metrics to proactively identify risks and system weaknesses.
• Support and mentor team members through code reviews and technical discussions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience as a PHP Developer, strong with PHP 7.x.
• Extensive experience with complex legacy PHP codebases and large-scale project structures.
• Strong debugging, analytical skills, and ability to trace execution flow across poorly documented systems.
• Proficiency in Linux-based environments, including SSH, shell scripting, and PHP CLI.
• Hands-on experience with cron jobs, background processing, and system automation.
• Good command of English, at least at an upper-intermediate level (B2).
