TL;DR

Senior Engineer Software (Backend): Leading technical initiatives and driving engineering excellence across the organization with an accent on architecting scalable solutions and mentoring the engineering team. Location: Remote (Must be based in Guadalajara, Mexico). Candidates must be based in Guadalajara with the right to work there and be able to work within four hours of Eastern Standard Time.

What you will do

• Architect and implement modular, maintainable software solutions optimized for performance and scalability.
• Lead feature and epic design discussions, incorporating feedback from cross-functional teams.
• Drive technical decision-making considering business objectives and customer needs.
• Own medium to large-scale projects from conception to delivery with minimal supervision.
• Champion best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
• Guide junior engineers and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of leading significant technical initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in C#, Java, or similar modern, object-oriented programming languages.
• Deep understanding of system architecture principles.
• Demonstrated experience with agile development methodologies.
