Senior Life Cycle Engineer/ Expert/ Specialist (Palo Alto and Routing & Switching Experience)

Senior Life Cycle Engineer (Network & Security): Managing the complete lifecycle of network and security services, including implementation, deployment, and L2/L3 support for enterprise network infrastructure. Focus on optimizing configurations, troubleshooting high-priority issues, and ensuring operational integrity of LAN, WAN, firewall, and SD-WAN solutions.

Location: Amman, Jordan and Cairo, Egypt. This is a hybrid role with up to 2 days/week work from home, and up to 30 days/year work from any location.

What you will do

• Manage the complete lifecycle of network & security services, from initial provisioning through to decommissioning.
• Implement, deploy, and provide L2/L3 support for airport network & security infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, firewall, and Versa SDWAN.
• Manage and maintain the operational integrity of the company's security and data networks, including responding to incidents and providing out-of-hours support.
• Perform day-to-day configuration, management, and operations of network infrastructure including firewalls, SD-WAN, and wireless LAN.
• Participate in the planning, deployment, and delivery of network-related projects, including global SD-WAN deployment.
• Perform troubleshooting and incident management for high-priority issues, ensuring resolution within SLAs.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in the Information Technology / Telecom Industry.
• Strong understanding of Firewalls Architecture with hands-on experience.
• Strong experience with Complex Routing & Switching Environments.
• Working experience on enterprise customer projects: Network Solutions (MPLS & SDWAN).
• Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computer Technologies.
• Proficiency in English is a must.
• Any Security Associate level certification is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Datacenter switching (e.g., Cisco Nexus, ACI).
• Experience in network automation through scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, JSON.
• Skills in Virtualization Technologies.
• CCNA/NP or JNCIS/IP certification.
