What you will do

• Lead Innovation & Proof-of-Concepts – Drive the evaluation, design, and execution of cutting-edge vendor and open-source solutions.
• Own End-to-End Program Delivery – Manage technical programs from concept through to production, including platform upgrades, cloud rollouts, and large-scale migrations.
• Orchestrate Cross-Functional Alignment – Bring together SRE, DevOps, Information Security, Legal, and Project Management teams to deliver platform improvements on time and with minimal risk.
• Evaluate & Recommend Solutions – Define success criteria, analyse technical performance, document results, and provide clear go/no-go recommendations to stakeholders.
• Ensure Security & Compliance – Partner with Information Security and Risk Management to align all solutions with regulatory and security standards.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or similar discipline
• 3+ years of relevant experience (e.g. Technical Analyst, Solution Architect)
• Good understanding of DevOps concepts, infrastructure as code, cloud platforms (AWS), containerisation (Kubernetes), and monitoring/logging tools
• Proven experience leading technical PoCs and vendor evaluations, with a strong ability to balance innovation and risk in a regulated space
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong understanding of infrastructure challenges including scalability, security, and compliance
