What you will do

• Develop and maintain PHP/JS components within the WP Toolkit ecosystem.
• Prototyping product features and solutions and generating ideas.
• Build integrations and features that improve the management experience for WordPress installations.
• Collaborate with developers, PM, and support teams to deliver high-quality releases.
• Enhance development infrastructure, including automation facilities and telemetry.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and contribute to technical improvements.

Requirements

• Strong PHP development experience.
• Strong base using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience in creating testable code and automated tests.
• Experience building or maintaining WordPress plugins.
• Ability to find solutions by analyzing a task at hand.
• Estimation and decomposition skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker-based development workflows.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Comfortable with CI/CD.
• Understanding of hosting environments or control panels.
• Experience with Go language.
