What you will do
- Develop and maintain PHP/JS components within the WP Toolkit ecosystem.
- Prototyping product features and solutions and generating ideas.
- Build integrations and features that improve the management experience for WordPress installations.
- Collaborate with developers, PM, and support teams to deliver high-quality releases.
- Enhance development infrastructure, including automation facilities and telemetry.
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and contribute to technical improvements.
Requirements
- Strong PHP development experience.
- Strong base using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience in creating testable code and automated tests.
- Experience building or maintaining WordPress plugins.
- Ability to find solutions by analyzing a task at hand.
- Estimation and decomposition skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker-based development workflows.
- Familiarity with AWS services.
- Comfortable with CI/CD.
- Understanding of hosting environments or control panels.
- Experience with Go language.
