What you will do

• Create new and maintain existing backend applications.
• Design and implement innovative features for the Health Profile team, including Care Circle, Health Profile, Lab Results, and Public Health Integrations.
• Collaborate with Product Management to understand and refine requirements.
• Apply software design principles to ensure high-quality, highly scalable solutions.
• Manage and maintain live production software at scale, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Focus on shipping minimal, maintainable solutions with clear APIs, clean architecture, and automation.

Requirements

• Strong backend experience with flexibility in PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, .NET, Python, and cloud/infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles, TDD, DDD, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with tools such as GIT, ELK Stack, DataDog, RabbitMQ, Symfony Messenger, MariaDB, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Redis.
• Experience in Agile methodologies, with a particular focus on Extreme Programming (XP).
• A curious nature with a passion for learning and teaching, actively contributing to knowledge flow.
• English: minimum B2 level required for both spoken and written communication.

Nice to have

• Strong backend experience in PHP.
• Good knowledge of PHP (7.4/8.2) and Symfony (3.3/6.4).
