Senior Security Engineer, Detection & Response (AI): Leading cybersecurity incident response and developing novel tooling to enhance detection, investigation, and response capabilities. Location: Hybrid in Zürich, Switzerland. This position requires staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. Visa sponsorship is available.

What you will do

• Lead cybersecurity Incident Response efforts across diverse domains and technology stack.
• Develop and deploy novel tooling, potentially leveraging Large Language Models, for detection and response.
• Create and optimize detections, playbooks, and workflows to quickly identify and respond to potential incidents.
• Review Incident Response metrics and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
• Work cross-functionally with other security and engineering teams.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with security, or 5+ years in detection engineering, incident response, or threat hunting.
• Solid understanding of cloud environments and operations, with experience in a SaaS environment.
• Ability to lead projects autonomously and quickly adapt to new technologies.
• Proficiency with EDR, SIEM, SOAR, or similar security tools.
• English: B2 required.
• Ability to work in Switzerland (visa sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• High proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with threat intelligence, malware analysis, infrastructure as code, detection engineering, or forensics.
• Experience contributing to a high growth startup environment.
