Senior UX Researcher

Focus on applying a number of UX Research techniques, mentoring junior researchers, and aligning with UX Designers to meet customer needs.

What you will do

• Gather and evaluate customer use cases, understanding user behaviours, needs and motivations.
• Lead the UX Research strategy for a business or product line.
• Maintain close links with UX Designers, ensuring user feedback is integrated into the design process.
• Lead the User-centred research process, mentoring junior researchers.
• Apply a number of UX Research techniques and create research documentation and analysis outputs.
• Work with UX and Visual Designers to define the structure, layout, and visual identity of products.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of customer use cases and expert use of various research and testing methodologies.
• Must understand the nuances of researching in different contexts (remote, in person, unmoderated, moderated).
• Expert-level proficiency with research software like Qualtics, Lookback, and Usertesting.com.
• Excellent knowledge of the organization's tech stack.
• Ability to mentor junior researchers in technical skills.
• Strong collaboration skills to build good working relationships with tech teams.
