What you will do

• Serve as the embedded technical AI specialist onsite, building relationships with client engineering, AI COE, and business teams.
• Own the end-to-end release workflow from platform updates through production deployment across all client environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain client's custom front-end setup, production retrieval, and agentic systems.
• Rigorously test, validate, and troubleshoot AI-specific features like LLM applications and RAG performance.
• Navigate client security, risk, and compliance approval processes and contribute to long-term migration strategies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 5+ years in AI/ML development and 2+ years in highly regulated, customer-facing roles.
• Expert proficiency in Python, modern JavaScript, production software development, systems design, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Extensive hands-on experience deploying and optimizing LLM-based applications and agentic systems in production environments, with deep knowledge of RAG implementation, CI/CD practices for AI, and evaluating AI model performance.
• Proven track record of managing complex multi-environment release pipelines and navigating enterprise approval workflows.
• Ability to connect effectively with diverse client stakeholders, challenge technical paradigms, and own problem-solving.
• Must be able to work onsite 2-3 days per week at the client location in NYC and travel as needed.
