What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain features in a payment processing platform
• Integrate payment gateways such as Braintree, Adyen, Klarna, and others
• Implement security-critical functionality including encryption and PCI-compliant workflows
• Optimize transaction processing for performance and scalability
• Build and maintain automated tests including unit, integration, and security tests
• Investigate and resolve production issues and contribute to code modernization

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional C++ experience in production systems
• Experience with financial or payment processing systems
• Strong knowledge of systems programming, concurrency, and security best practices
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and build systems (Bazel preferred)
• English proficiency at least B2 level
• Remote work possible, preference for candidates based in Poland

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka or event streaming platforms
• Hands-on experience with OpenSSL or cryptographic libraries
• Experience in gradual modernization of legacy systems
