Location: Hybrid setup - After 3 months in-office, work 2 days remote, 3 days in-office weekly. Offices located in Amsterdam, Istanbul, and Sofia.

What you will do

• Run regulatory compliance audits and advisory reviews across banking regulations, data protection, AML/KYC, operational risk, and regulatory reporting.
• Identify and help fix gaps and root causes, not just symptoms, ensuring every recommendation is tangible, measurable, time-bound, and followed through to completion.
• Continuously monitor corrective action plans and keep stakeholders engaged.
• Evaluate AI usage in compliance areas and building your own AI agents.
• Protect user trust, balancing strong regulatory compliance with efficiency and a great user experience.

Requirements

• You have a strong knowledge of EU regulatory compliance frameworks, including banking regulations, AML/CFT, and data protection.
• You understand that compliance exists to protect users - not just regulators.
• You’re experienced with Root Cause Analysis, especially in higher-risk scenarios.
• You’re familiar with AI oversight frameworks and can assess compliance and trust risks related to AI usage.
• You challenge existing ways of working, introduce continuous improvements, and see corrective actions through to resolution.
• You communicate clearly, prioritize effectively, and turn insights into concrete and tangible actions.
