What you will do

• Develop core functionality for customer-facing and internal products, systems, data platforms, and e-commerce capabilities.
• Develop extensible platforms and architectures to launch new products and lines of business efficiently.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems.
• Develop APIs powering the web & mobile platforms for our product portfolio.
• Collaborate with software engineers, designers, QAs, product managers, business stakeholders, and domain experts.
• Drive impact and own your work end-to-end, from scoping & planning to deployment and operations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Experience building web backends in Node.js/Typescript or willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with scalable cloud architectures, design patterns, and best practices.
• Practical experience with CI/CD and IaC (Infrastructure-as-code).
• Experience with databases & data management practices, including relational databases & search engines.
• Experience with TDD and testable code, including unit, integration, and performance testing.

Nice to have

• A degree in CS or equivalent is a plus.
• Practical experience with building scalable & highly reliable cloud systems.
• Familiarity with modern JS frameworks.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• An eye for user behavior and design and attention to detail.
