What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
• Develop end-to-end applications following TDD principles.
• Write and maintain unit/integration tests using Mockito, Jasmine, and Playwright.
• Participate in release management and deployments during US nearshore/onshore hours.
• Provide production support and resolve issues during onshore hours, if needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong expertise in Kafka and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Test Driven Development (TDD) and testing frameworks like Mockito and Jasmine.
• Experience with release management and deployments.
• Advanced English proficiency for communication with US-based teams.
• Must be able to work 2 days a week in a client or hirify.global office in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Familiarity with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Knowledge of Playwright for automated testing.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
