TL;DR

Operations Specialist: Serving as the onsite operational backbone, blending IT, People, and Operations support for a Porto office, with an accent on ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and employee support. Focus on managing basic IT issues, coordinating HR-related tasks, and overseeing office environment and events.

Location: Hybrid in Porto, Portugal. Must be willing to work onsite in our Porto, Portugal office 2-3 times per week. Applicants must be authorized to work in Portugal and currently live in the Porto area to be considered for the position.

Salary: Annual Salary Range: €45,000–€55,000

What you will do

  • Provision, deploy, and manage IT equipment, primarily MacBooks, and troubleshoot common employee IT issues.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including local orientation and workspace setup.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employees regarding policies, processes, and benefits navigation.
  • Own day-to-day office operations, managing vendors, supplies, and facilities coordination.
  • Coordinate meetings, calendars, visitors, and logistics for onsite and hybrid teams.
  • Plan and execute office events, team meetings, and employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in IT support, people operations, business operations, or a similar hybrid role.
  • Comfortable performing hands-on technical tasks such as laptop provisioning and basic troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with Apple OSX, MacBooks, Google Workspace, and OKTA experience required.
  • Bilingual in Portuguese and English; strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills.
