iOS Engineer (Mobile Development)

TL;DR

iOS Engineer (Swift/Kotlin Multiplatform): Developing and optimizing UI/features for a mobile application with an accent on Swift code, Kotlin Multiplatform business logic, and CI/CD. Focus on integrating internal/external APIs, maintaining code quality, and ensuring a consistent user experience.

Location: Hybrid role, working 2-3 days per week at our HQ in Amsterdam. Must be based in the Netherlands or willing to relocate to the Netherlands.

Salary: €5,700–€6,200

What you will do

• Develop new UI/features for the hirify.global iOS app with Swift and contribute to shared Kotlin Multiplatform business logic.
• Participate in the full development life cycle, including gathering requirements, designing functionality, and writing tests.
• Maintain the current Swift codebase, performing bug fixes and improvements.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD for the hirify.global iOS app and shared Kotlin Multiplatform module.
• Integrate internal and external APIs and libraries to extend functionality.
• Work collaboratively with other iOS, Android, and backend developers to achieve a great user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as an iOS engineer in an agile product development environment.
• Experience with Unit Testing and Functional Testing in a Continuous Integration cycle.
• Experience with development tools such as source control, editors, and deployment pipelines (helm charts).
• Experience with monitoring performance and alerts in production, and mitigating production issues.
• Must be living in the Netherlands or willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
