Location: Hybrid role requiring in-office presence two days per week in Dublin, Ireland.

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain highly resilient and scalable features across hirify.global’s products.
• Evolve hirify.global’s existing products suite to meet global market needs.
• Build core features into the Point of Sale.
• Work directly with pilot customers (sometimes in the restaurant!) to ensure successful delivery and operation.
• Collaborate with teams across hirify.global, UX, and PM on feature definition and design.
• Mentor and coach other engineers and ensure quality through automated testing.

Requirements

• High proficiency with Kotlin, Java or another object-oriented language, with a deep understanding of testing, quality & best practices.
• High proficiency working with Android systems.
• Ability to take complex business problems and create easy-to-use solutions at scale.
• Working experience of API principles (e.g., REST).
• Enjoys building well-engineered, usable and accessible systems.
• Ability to embrace an agile mindset focused on delivering usable software.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Android development (understanding of Activities, Fragments, Services, Reactivity, Dagger, XML layouts, Coroutines).
• Proficiency in Software Development best practices (Code Quality, UnitTest, BDD).
• Experience working in backend Java/Kotlin micro services.
